Tour Details

Gomukh Tapovan trek is a thrill ride with breathtaking views of the Gaumukh Glacier.
According to the Hindu religion, the Sacred River Ganges is the most sanctified river. Gaumukh
(Cow’s Mouth), the source of the Ganges, is thus revered by Hindu devotees as one of the most
sacred locations.
At an altitude of 14,200 feet, embark on a trek that offers breathtaking views of the Gangotri
peaks of Shivling, Thalay Sagar, and Meru. The Gomukh Tapovan Trek is beautiful and stuffed
with nature’s bounty, including fragrant flowers, snow-capped peaks, and other breathtaking
views. Do not pass up the opportunity to take a dip in the holy Bhagirathi River, which is
considered a sacred ritual. The divine aura of the pilgrim cities of Rishikesh, Uttarkashi,
Gangotri and Bhojwassa can also be experienced during the trek.
